The M1 red laser pen: a classic for good reason
Ask someone to picture a laser pen and they will probably imagine something very like the M1: a slim pen, a press of the button and a bright red dot. The M1 delivers exactly that with a 650 nm red beam and an output up to 1 mW, laser class 2 – the class intended for sale to the public in the UK. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are included, so there is nothing to charge and nothing to set up.
The M1 is one of the most-ordered lasers in our shop, and it is easy to see why. It is a natural fit for the two jobs our customers ask about most: playing with the cat and pointing during a presentation.
For cat owners

Batteries
Two powerful AAA batteries are included and last at least about a month with normal use; replacements are available in every supermarket. Remove them if you will not use the pen for a long time.
Safety
Class 2 lasers are designed so that the blink reflex protects against a brief accidental glance, but never treat that as permission: do not aim at eyes, at people or at animals' eyes, and never at vehicles, aircraft or reflective surfaces.
